Please help Abused and Neglected Children!

Jane was shaken which led to hospitalization for a brain bleed and removal from her home. Jane's foster family is facilitating visits with mom and attempting to help her learn parenting skills. A maternal aunt to mom was found. Jane's CASA volunteer made numerous visits to the child's great aunt's house both when Jane was and was not present. The foster family had some concerns with Jane going to live with her great aunt. The CASA listened to the concerns, and then evaluated them independently through her visits. She supported the placement with the aunt based upon those observations and conversations.
